About Jed
Jed’s heartfelt passion for people and his perspectives on relationships began when he was a teenager.
In high school and college, Jed worked with deaf and blind children and later organized and led a Boy Scout troop. After five years as an Officer/Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Jed pursued a management career in business. He retired as a mid-level executive from a Fortune 50 company.
Jed is the founder and President of JS Associates, Inc., established to improve the lives of a broad spectrum of people and organizations.
Among his many professional accomplishments, Jed led national initiatives for aerospace-related companies with numerous government agencies and the White House to resolve policy issues affecting those companies.
Throughout his career, Jed has been a keynote speaker at forums on motivation, leadership, and effective management.
Jed is a former 10-year volunteer with the American Red Cross and held several leadership positions in disaster relief and community support.
Jed is a co-founder, President, and Executive Director of Caring Clowns International, an all-volunteer charitable nonprofit. Since its inception in 2002, their clowns have performed in over 35 developing countries and across the United States. In addition, the organization has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to other nonprofits worldwide to help children in need (www.caringclownsinternational.org).
Jed holds a BS degree in Sociology/Psychology from Iowa State University. He is a graduate of several executive Air Force and other management programs.
